The number on your contract is dead. The website is a bankruptcy notice. Your system shows an error or your bill went up, and you don't know who is supposed to fix it.
The installer's workmanship warranty likely went with the company. Panel, inverter and battery makers may still honor theirs, but each one has its own rules and claim process, and most were set up to go through an installer.
Many local companies won't touch a system they didn't install. The ones that will can quote anything, and you have no way to know if a $3,000 inverter job is fair or a markup on someone else's problem.
Answer a few questions and add photos of the labels on your panels, inverter and monitoring box. First question: do you own it, or lease it? If it's a lease or PPA, we'll point you to the company that holds it, because they are the ones responsible for service.
We identify your equipment by make and model, list each manufacturer warranty that may still apply, show who processes the claim and how, and lay out your options for getting monitoring working again.
For the most common repairs on your equipment, we show typical price ranges and the questions to ask, so you can judge a quote before you sign it. You choose who to hire. We don't sell your details to installers.
You won't be charged. This saves your spot at the early-access price.
Not yet. It's in development. Join the early-access list and we'll email you when the first reports are ready. Clicking the button does not charge you.
Then the leasing company owns the system and is responsible for service, and an outside repair company usually can't work on it. For example, SunStrong Management services SunPower leases and legacy Sunnova leases and PPAs. The free check will tell you who to contact. You won't need the paid report.
Not necessarily. The installer's workmanship warranty usually ended with the company, but manufacturer warranties are separate and may still apply. Terms vary by manufacturer and model, which is why the report goes equipment by equipment. It's guidance, not a legal ruling, and we link you to the manufacturer to confirm.
Free matching services are paid by the installers they send you to. We're paid by you, once, so the answer is about your equipment and a fair price, not about routing you to a company. You can still use a matching service afterward, with a report in hand.
No. We're an information service. Repairs need a licensed local contractor. We help you understand your system and judge the quotes you get.
